Hedgehog Baby

I've been meaning to do this for a few years. It's one of DH's favorite animals and the only EMS baby he loves. Since I decided that 2010 will be a year that I'm going to try and stitch projects for loved ones, this was the first one I decided to accomplish. Isn't he too cute for words???!

Re-framed with a gold frame and he still sits pretty above my mirror in our closet.

Since Russell is born in the Year of the Ox, I thought this would be extra cute. Made a few changes since it's for a boy and took out the butterflies and flowers and added bumblebees and trails.

This was originally supposed to be a bear baby, but since Heidi was born in the Year of the Monkey, and her daddy wanted the baby to be a monkey instead, DH and I made some adjustment to the image and voila!
